Claire fitting a bridal gown

We completely understand that you may have lots of questions prior to your bridal appointment with us and we have answered the most frequently asked below. If you have anything else you would like to ask us, do get in touch.

  • We are able to offer gowns to purchase from the rail as well as gowns to order. Gowns from the rail range from £250 to £950 and to order £900 to £2,250, so we have gowns to suit all budgets. Feel free to discuss your budget prior to your appointment with us.

  • Yes we do! We offer interest-free payment plans spread over a 3- to 10-month period.

  • For orderable gowns, 12 to 18 months before your wedding is an ideal time to purchase your dress, as they can usually take four to seven months to arrive. Our designers do offer a rush service if necessary, but this does incur an additional charge. Dresses from the rail are always available, so brides with a shorter lead time will still have a good selection to choose from.

  • We pride ourselves on offering a friendly and no pressure experience for our brides. You and your guests will be greeted with the warmest of welcomes and we will discuss with you your vision, the details of your wedding and your budget. From there you will be shown some dresses that we think may meet your requirements and then you are given the opportunity to browse through all of our 120 dresses, to decide which you would like to try. Once you have made your picks, you and your guests will be escorted to our exclusive upstairs fitting room where the fun begins. Appointments last around 1.5 hours.

  • We can comfortably seat four guests in our upstairs fitting room, however we can provide additional seating if necessary to accommodate more. Contact us prior to your appointment, if you plan to bring more than four guests.

  • Alterations will usually start three to four months prior to your wedding, however a quicker turnaround can be achieved if necessary.

  • Dresses can be altered by at least two sizes by our seamstresses. We will go through all the options with you when you have chosen your dream dress.

Suit hire

Whether you're the groom, best man or a guest of honour, or simply going to a ball, our expert team is here to help you find the perfect suit. From classic styles to modern tailoring, we’ll guide you through the options and make sure you look sharp and feel confident for the big day.

  • You can choose your suit as soon as early as you wish.

  • We recommend being measured for your suit six to eight weeks prior to your wedding. If you feel you have had any weight changes during that time, we can double check your sizes and make any necessary changes.

  • Yes they are! Most suits in our range offer children’s sizes too. We recommend children are measured four weeks prior to your wedding day.

Prom dresses

Prom night is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion - and we're here to help you find a dress that truly feels like you. With a stunning range of styles and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, we’ll make sure your prom dress shopping is as memorable as the night itself.

  • As early as possible! Once a dress is purchased, we do not sell the same one to that school, so the earlier you order the more choice you’ll have.

  • Yes you can. We offer interest-free payment plans to spread out the cost of your dress.

  • Most dresses do require some alterations, usually the length will need to be shortened and sometimes straps shortened.

  • Yes we can! We have a team of highly skilled seamstresses who can carry out any necessary alterations.
